What a great film. I was totally rooting for Henry Fonda all the way to get all the jurors to believe that the boy was innocent throughout the film. Marvelous writing by Reginald Rose . Some may complain that the film feels too staged and to some degree it is, but I don't see this as a negative of the film. A great thriller (I was on the edge of the seat literally the whole time) and character study on the different ways jurors act and decide if someone is guilty or not. This has been inducted into the category of my favorite films.
